Movies under the “Stars” comes to Milton at Birmingham Crossing Marketplace

Weekend Movies, Family Fare brings out the crowds to the Marketplace at Birmingham Crossing in Milton. Every Saturday night, at the Birmingham Crossroads in Milton, located at Birmingham Highway and Birmingham Road, families can come together and, just like yesteryear, watch a movie under the warm summer skies, and it’s all for free. “Movies under the Stars” is presented by the business owners at the Marketplace at Birmingham Crossing, site of the beautiful new Publix grocery store and plaza, constructed to look like and blend in with the area’s farms and stables. The developer did a fabulous job in keeping with the rural feel. The movies under the stars are slated to run through the summer, right up to the start of the new school year. All the movies are family friendly, with “Ratatouille” kicking off the event. Interested families can go to the Milton shopping center to see what movie will be playing that weekend.

At a recent Home Owners Association meeting, residents overwhelmingly approved a $4 million amenities improvement package.
Construction will begin in September on the new amenities area, which is planned to include 11 tennis courts, two connected pools, a new playground and a new community center. It is expected to be fully completed in May 2009.
Each homeowner will pay approximately $674.00 a year in increased dues for the project, which nearly doubles the HOA fees to $1,424.00 a year. New HOA payments will start in January of 2009.

Sandy Springs Georgia, A Woodland Forest Paradise Of Homes

As a Real Estate Agent with Prudential Georgia Realty, I sell the area of Sandy Springs and was recently re-introduced to the wonderful and tranquil community of Woodland Forest.
The Neighborhood of Woodland Forest is quite unique. Trees galore and a small, tight knit, swim and tennis community.

At time of this post, Homes currently are selling in the mid 400’s for a 4 bedroom / 3 bath home. Homes in Woodland Forest take on the average about 40 days to sell. This is an excellent number for days on market, especially in this North Atlanta Real Estate environment.
My experience with the members of the Home Owners Association has been very positive as well. The community has a web site and they have been very responsive to advertise on their web site. What great people!
It appears that this community, of just 58 homes, really has a good old fashioned neighborhood feeling. I invite you to take a look at a neighborhood that has it all. Great schools, Great location, and Great neighbors!
Most of the lots in this community are over 1/3 of an acre +. Such a mature community, shady and rich in nature. Tennis and Pool to boot. I have added pictures of the community to give you a Journey through this wonderful neighborhood in the North Atlanta area of Georgia.
